Alright... I got through episode one of Yasuke, and I really, REALLY like it. On one end, it recaps a LOT of historical events that happened between him and Nobunaga. And on the other, it's a love letter to anime like Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo, and Trigun. All anime I adore!

One episode in and yasuke is already my anime of the season. The strange combination of mecha, magic and feudal japan, phenomenal OST by flying lotus and a great black protagonist.

You need to watch yasuke!

Yasuke is pretty good though it makes it a little confusing to follow the story with some of the flashbacks. I want to see a season 2 of the wandering Black Samurai, Yasuke.
