Fun fact. Found the Yokai.

Almudron is based on the Dorotabō Yokai, a mud spirit that takes the form of a grumpy old man that wants to protect his rice fields.

Looks like through the wizened, masculine face that this is the inspiration, not to mention the usage of mud.

Kaskozog fashions its hat from dried leaves and its hardened slime. It hides in piles of leaves to surprise those who get close. Its tongue no longer fits in its mouth, and its drool is toxic! On top of the Tofu-Kozo, it's also inspired by the Kasa-Obake yokai.

Tofrug is one of our favorites. It's a little tofu frog with a Japanese maple leaf on top! From above it almost looks like the Canadian flag! It's in the between stage of tadpole and frog, hence the tail. The concept is inspired by the Tofu Kozo yokai.
