Which powerhouse triumphs? And Why?

And their not even using the actual black Superman Val-Zod from Earth 2 with Power Girl, all their doing is changing original Kal-El black just to be black. They don't really care

I knew they'd put a lot of damage behind them, but I was genuinely surprised and delighted when Lex showed up to save a blind Superman from Zod and co.

As a lover of all things no one NEEDS a Black Superman (whether it be Val-Zod or Calvin Ellis) when there are so many other Black heroes in need of a treatment in the 'Omniverse Era' of the Universe.

But of course, why use the Kal-El name at all? Adapting Val-Zod, would be the better move. An already established character from the comics. Hopefully that THR article wasn't quite accurate.

Let me correct myself and say WB.

Black representation is fine and I completely support it, but? There is literally no reason to do this when you can write a story about a black character in the Superman universe.

Steel.
Icon.
Val Zod.
Ronan.

You have options, make them iconic https://t.co/avrovWTNGI

Lemme get this straight-
Warner Bros has the following versions of Superman at their disposal: Val-Zod, Calvin Ellis, and Steel...

And you want to just make Clark Kent black?

This is Val Zod. In Earth 2, Jor El saved him from Krypton.
