It's on blu-ray but it's also being re-released in theaters because of the efforts of the fans.

New York state movie theaters are opening this week, so the estimated number of theaters showing Alita will indeed go up, perhaps by 100 theaters. Los Angeles may also open on 10/23 or 10/30, which would add more theaters showing Alita.
