Though I gotta say, I think half the level-up factor was software. Up until march 2019, I used a rather broken version of SAI. It had maybe six brushes.

Getting my mitts on Clip Studio changed my LIFE, as again exampled here with two drawings days apart in different programs

Really liked this program. I was doing in two separated programs earlier, one for sketchs, other for colors, but now... I think I'll stay on it. 🙂

Since I don't have proper animation programs like Spine, I sorta frankensteined a rig in Blender. Mixture of joint animation, weight-painted armature stuff and some image sequences for lightning things. Also some node shenanigans for transparency.

$300 USD into my account. $300 USD out of my account. Bought Spine 2D for of the I'm wanting to do for mods. Not the most intuitive tool, at least compared to other animation programs I'm used to. Still need some polish on my first test animation.
