In terms of character design, we can see their iris under their headband (not just a white) and the colors are vibrant. They blended the best elements from previous iterations to put their new look. It's all about « amplifying their world » and focusing on the teenage part 4/4

I experiment a bit more with the colors on this one, focusing on the general feel then cleanliness (which is why it's so messy lol) gray-scale to color might just be one of my favourite ways to paint now

Remember to take the time you need when your struggling. Taking breaks are not something you should feel guilty about. Nor should you feel guilty for focusing on yourself and your own burdens. Self-care is incredibly important and very valid and you are absolutely worth it.

I start with a loose sketch and block in colors quickly with a line or square drawing tool, starting with the background and then focusing on the figure. From there I build up form by adding in darks and stuff.
