In space prison) so Arisse along with others who just like him, are glitches from that failed timeline. I would like to go into further detail but I'm lazy. Arisse is a bookworm, a kind dude with 4 arms. All the glitches suffered alterations to their bodies. He has a slit eye.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX reuses several old art from the original games. However, many alterations were made, most notably, giving the characters scarves. However Pikachu and some objects had their appearance slightly changed as well. (Left new, right old).
