They're all simple square or round brushes. The only one somewhat notable is the round brush set to multiply.

😂this project was mostly manipulating a couple of overlay, multiply, burn and dodge layers like a hack. I thought it'd be fun to try a grey value map and then get it the color I wanted in 4-5 adjustment layers

5. Coloring 🖍
since i dont have photoshop, i use paint tool sai 2!! i clean up the background a bit using the watercolor tool, then coloring in with the brush tool. i change the mode to "multiply" on each layer

also sometimes i go over the lineart w black on the lil details💖

Another illustration in one hour for my personnal challenge on : using only flat colors, lasso tool and a round brush shape with full opacity. No other tool, just normal and multiply fusion mode for layers.

it blends the specular+diffuse result using via screen, then blends that result with the original texture/colour via multiply. produces a very viable ambient colour lighting.

Here's the final result using diffuse lighting, ambient cubemap lighting, and specular !!

When I finish my "coloring'n'shading in one". I'm adding small details, like extra shade ( layer set on multiply.) and light (layer set on luminosity) ... and there ya go! my drawing is finished.
