The original idea was "Ninjas" but because I am not sure about Veronica's and I don't want to search for info let's call it "Oriental Warrior Suits", I had to change to darker colors because the old ones was too bright, not very good to hidde in the shadows

@crossfirebat 2. Technically I didn’t, they were originally AI generated by thisponydoesnotexist (see image) - I did however tweak the colours a little in ponytown. Though in general I like darker coloured ponies, especially dark colour bats 💚

did the heartstopper boys get paler in the yearbook? i can excuse the bulky guy's hair looking a bit darker in the show but he looks way skinnier! the actors are both white when clearly one of the characters was of color. i'm not interested in heartstopper but just look at this :
This super cartoony, saturated, cute style is actually my ideal art style. I just stray away from it because I don't think it'd work well for comics and darker illustrations
Shading
Now the fun part.
Lock each layers transparency and begin shading with a soft round brush to create a darker gradient from the bottom of each layer. Then with a hard round brush fill in the shadows. DO NOT over do the gradient.
Add highlights where needed. And done.
Here's an idea of the paint scheme for the model (also added the original darker skin tone). #Doodlevale #VShojo
@kelina1080 Uh I never really chose a specific color for him tbh, but you could do it similar to normal hippo colors (lighter or darker) or do something similar to what Blah did
