@dalimash Learn to see the nuance in any advice given to you. For example a lot of people give very straightforward advice like "never shade with black." Never? I don't think so. It's not awful advice for most people, but there are a lot of styles that look GREAT with pure black shading.

Both these pics use the same base colors for Ayane's skin, eyes, and hair. Black is the only color I use for shading. I highlight with white. They end up looking different because of the colors/lighting/effects I layer over them, and how much opacity I use for the black.
