It might not be an optimal comparison because back in 2009 I mainly drew Sonic Art, and I only started to draw Anime illustrations regularly about two years ago, but hey... I'd say I'm getting somewhere 😅

Ten years ago I didn't contemplate the idea of being able to live off art. 10 years ago, I was drawing to distract myself from my life in high school. Art was a therapeutic thing in my adolescence, so I'm very happy that it's my job now.

Revisited a piece from 2009. I tried to keep it as close to the original design without changing things. So this is present day me telling younger me to keep going. Also made this year's look like a mock book cover cause why not?
