Here's a quick process image of the last workflow test I did. Good lines honestly let you get away with all sorts of BS in the coloring stage.

Sai Workflow:
I do lines -> Soft airbrush gradient shading -> Loose/softened cel shading with watercolor fringe

personally i just do a little blob of a darker colour in the middle of each section and airbrush the skin tone onto the points near the face!! i hope that helps d(^_^o)

i decided i NEEDED an 80s style airbrush painting of venus and as it turns out if you want content of your own ocs you have to make it yourself... bullshit
also he can shapeshift so that's my excuse why i'll never be able to draw him this pretty ever again

I just lower opaqueness, make it a darker color, draw wherever I want to shade, then blur. Or I use airbrush tool (2nd pic)

Aku suka pake banyak brush nder.. Lineart pake dip pen soft, kadang dip pen hard. Coloring pake felt tip soft, kadang penfade jg. Shading pake airbrush, kadang pake penfade. Kalau shading rambut pake Oil hair, kadang dip pen hard juga 😄
