One of my favorite games of all time, Arkanoid, I wish there were more games like this Breakout type game, had the fun weapons and power ups, top game

Maybe the worst game based on a Film, so disappointed in the game, considering there was not many games based on oval racing at the time, missed opportunity

I really do like the look of that version.
The BMX event looks like a whole lot more fun than the C64 version. 🤔 I'm sure I've got the cart image rattling around on one of these hard-drives somewhere. I should set up a Lynx emulator and try it out. 👍

Ah, I did love Krakout.
One of the best breakout games on the C64 IMHO.
(I'm in two minds which was better: this or TRAZ. The core TRAZ game-play is excellent, but the levels were too hard. I found TRAZ much more fun after I'd made my own levels.) 😁

IIRC, there are some NTSC versions that, when played on a PAL machine, would kill you if any of the droids electric burst goes off-screen, into the border. 😮 Makes it just impossible to play. But, I love playing right through and seeing that ending on the C64. 👍

Movie games were very hit & miss, thankfully Hunt for Red October was a hit for me, all the important movie scenes are played out as action sequences in the game

BMX Simulator was the first ever game I purchased, and I have been buying Codemasters games ever since, Codies games were priced amazingly at £1.99😀

Aces of Aces has that polish to it that we'd come to expect from Accolade. The graphics, sound, and game-play were all top notch on the C64. I played it many times. I'd become quite good at all missions, so was just trying for a 'perfect' game. ie: maximum hits on all targets. 😎

Ace of Aces, was not my first Flight Sim, it was one that made me really interested in the genre, you would do bombing runs over Germany and try to return safely

Another quality arcade conversion from Bad Dudes or Dragon Ninja, played like a Shinobi game, good fun.

ND of Censor Design released his first C64 PETSCII screens on csdb and they all look amazing. Lots of talent here! https://t.co/4kgFy2u5VL

Those super-smooth graphics are messing with my head..
I want pixels! 😁 ..and to be beaten mercilessly by Pole for daring to stay still for 1/10th of a second. 😋 (C64 version)
