Fade and Lonely are seraphs, which in their universe, only one of each kind can exist at the same time.
Seraphs gain their power from emotions. Light seraphs get their power from positive emotions, and dark seraphs from negative.
soo i just discovered (by imitating musty old animes) that if i slap an elliptical gradient on the screen that often ends up looking just as good or better than a really elaborate fancy volumetric light effect
