in the manga Mirio is almost always having shigs fingers going through him. He's constantly being attacked the only rsn Mirio could stand so close to shig was bc of his quirk. Ik bones doesnt like animating him permeating often but scenes of him just standing there is so goofy😭
I think nolan was heavily influenced by his uncle but that lifestyle of crime ended up being so miserable, so he thought about creating a persona (nolan chance) who'd just deal with everything without much care, no grudges, no anger, no fear etc, Just luck and "fun"
