Today's practice is of Mr. Clay. Two different attempts - one watercolor and the other was trying out the new copics. (I went overboard.) I don't feel like I have a good handle on value, shadows, & highlights.

Noelle Silva from Black Clover! I really wanted her backlit and a sunset made sense, but I'd never coloured a sunset with copics before, nor have I really messed with lighting. So I'm really happy with this end result!

Progression of my inked character for from digital to ink.
I used micron pens and copics, which the copic shading was a bit rushed and sloppy but I feel like it adds to the ruggedness of the character! 😅
