Bueno en la situación de Pichi Pichi Pitch yo diría que es más bien una "escapada" en el original. La producción del anime quería que Sheshe y Mimi fueran extremadamente amorosas y conmovedoras, si no se las representara como hermanas, no existirían escenas como ésta:
