Today was a slow day at work. A friend mentioned I should work on perfecting my poses since they looked a bit stiff. If the poses look stiff, let me know in the comments.
Also, I only had 4 colored pencils with me when I drew these, so I took a bit of inspiration from Fauvism art

"Do a plié and never fall.
Don't ever stray from protocol.
All through the day, there's just one way you must behave.
Do keep a grip and never crack.
Stiff upper lip..."

Improved Tewi's portrait further. She still looks stiff as hell but then again, I'm not a good artist. I'm not an artist period.

Self crit: the pose feels unnaturally stiff, especially the arms. More organic lines and form, less outline. Shading also looks really flat.

Been messing around, been feeling a bit like my art has been a bit stiff feeling so I wanted to just go nuts and I had been writing a lot of Nat so she's been my subject today.

Fog on Water
[Commission]

She is a Water Genasi, with wild hair, always rough and stiff with salt no matter how far she has strayed from the sea.

She wears her greatest weapon around her neck: a pendant bearing the symbol of a fish swimming through a crown.
