I've been playing around with a new style. I use lines way to much so I decided to try and use less lines, and focus more on shape, only using lines to help distinguish the shapes.

The thing I'd recommend you focus on the most for now is your values and form rendering - the way you use light and shadow to define shapes. Focus on using light to define *forms* instead of edges, and resist the urge to define every edge.

In January I went through a short mecha phase. I wanted to go a little more wacky and cartoony. I still think these first two drawings are just great. I have them printed into posters at home. I was having fun experimenting in my shapes.
