My new Lord of Plagues! Sometimes you just get inspired by great art. I still have a ton of greenstuff work to do; his shoulder, extending the helmet down, covering up one of the straps, the hand (which if you know a good replacement left hand in a similar pose, let me know).

Whenever you add detail and tighten up forms image balance changes. So I had to counteract. Slight changes in placement and composition, especially on the back layers, which got now also placed with a construction. Two big issues got eliminated in a single swoop. [14/20]

two separated lines and adding some upper or lower lip shadow is the fool proof way
if it's still looking sus it's probably due to the placement
just remember it's stuck to skull and needs to have curvature as the eyes do as they rest on the head
As mentioned before, I've set up a ko-fi to help me raise money for a new replacement assist part or a new (used) assist bike since mine broke. I have an ankle problem that makes commuting very painful without it.

@mamebeanie I try to go for the manga version of his eyes and I always struggle with the shape and it comes off too stiff. Hori seems to like hiding the corners of his eyes in his hair placement. Which maybe I’m the last to notice this haha 😂 but now I’ll try to do that.
