@Needlemouse90 yep! Loved it since childhood, especially the X series. His firing pose was the base for her spell-absorption pose. Her spellcasting works kinda like Mega-Man's boss power mechanic as well, since she absorbs spells she knows and uses them herself. But that was coincidental.
