@vampiire_bat bc you can't recognize it as well on a small, low-res 3DS screen if you don't exaggerate it. you see this in character design a lot too, where more realistic proportions don't read as well on lower resolutions - Persona Q is a very clear example of this
hmm... i think i want to give the boys my usual proportions after all xD what do y'all think?
Bonus: Cassie’s “Hyper Compression” bust would be around ~200 cm ! Making compressed Cassie a ~100ZZZZZZZZZZZ (JP)/~44ZZZZZZZZZZ (US) assuming similar proportional scales ! Cassie butt is also officially 30 inches wide 💖
*316 cm measurement is based on quarantine size!
Anthro Bio and Mothra
Was working on different proportions and body types
And then I wanted to design my anthro Bio and redesign my anthro Mothra lol

Experimenting with chibi proportion 😆 Arona is my fav character in BA so I'm drawing her

To make this design curvaceous AND keeping as accurate proportions to the original seemed like a hard feat, especially when it came to her head shape connected to the body. I wasn't sure how I would've been able to do justice to the original design.
And then it hit me...
@KinseyKahlil @SovereignStank I put the wrong picture on the left. I fixed the arm on the right and shadows on the hat as well as add some sparkles on the tentacles. I also fixed some face proportions. This is what it looked like before.
also this is why I shouldn't draw sleep deprived, this looks way better when flipped imo, since I fucked up the proportions
@Variety Dante is right. People noticed back in 2019. Baby Yoda’s look/proportions and mannerisms are way more like Gizmo than Yoda from the films. Tough to unsee it.
Couldn’t sleep so starting the day with Lesson 03 The 6 Sections in Different Proportions from Creature Design with Aaron Blaise. Course available at https://t.co/UOJlcEH7Qw #creatureartteacher #creaturedesign
Idk which canvas size would have better proportions for painting something like this
My friend commissioned me for a painting commission for his TTIGRAAS OC!
I am super proud of the proportions

WIP2 of my Oliver painting: finished lineart plus a proportion changes (minus clothes)
While she’ll have a few weapons she’s skilled with, her favorite will be a kusarigama (the Japanese chained sickle) as it allows for enemy immobilization with a graceful, dancerly follow-up.
This is the best piece of art I've made so far. Good shading, decent proportions, and a peak jrpg character. To top it all off, this was my last piece of 2021 and I made it so I wouldn't end it with that Kirby post
Still got long ways to go so Imma keep improving. :)
literally always liked this one but also hated it, i never did anything about it till now but it was quite horrendous ( basically their heads were really disproportionate to each other, its freaky once you notice sdjkfdlsfk)
@AbelMunizJr @LukeStation_ Very true, the art style started becoming much more detailed and realistic proportions rather than the 1998-2003 style where characters had very expressive poses and exaggerated proportions. They just look completely different now
