the original original art seem to have been just black ink. and then they colored it to the art you see above. so the black is really intense.

in the paintover, ive also added more dints and grime streaks. and jacked up the contrast on the green lighting on his face.

Multiversus inspired me to design my own fighting game character, meet Snuggle Punch!! I thought the buff body inside of the big fluffy mascot suit would be a fun contrast. The fists and legs are full of metal to make her extra tanky and hit even harder.

A long time ago I applied my film studies knowledge to analyzing the vol 2 cover, and now…

I was just struck by the contrast between vol 4 and vol 2—because vol 4 also depicts Bingqiu physically close to one another, but it’s become an image of tenderness.
