pick a very saturated shade of the color you want, draw it like it's opaque and then lower the layer/folder opacity bro it's like magic. also add another layer of shading on parts where the fabric overlaps so you create that "see through" feeling.

In daylight, the dark colors looked flat and the rim light looked ridiculous. And even during night scenes, characters looked weird if they overlapped at all. This second panel here took SO much extra work to make it look decent.

Numbah 6 in my SU meets FF series: Pearl as Cid! Her color palette may be the opposite of the ol' pilot's, but I think the two share a ton of overlaps otherwise. Plus, Pearl can finally cuss left and right and be in character!

I am looking for a way to have SpriteRenderer of elements in a 3D world and I have issues with 2D element in the back overlapping elements closer to the camera while all of them being at the same layer order.

Any advice on how to fix that?

this was just for fun! ;_; if you disagree with any of these that's fine! there was lots of brain gymnastics involved so everyone's classes didn't overlap too much...

For example on this piece the characters overlap each other plus Miroku is holding an object so I had a layer for Inuyasha, Miroku and his staff but on the other it's one subject with little overlapping so it's all on one layer
