Back to making people observations in the social media world- my fav, TikTok haha. Been seeing a lot of ponybrow lifts and the pouty lips with minimalistic makeup. Of course this is nothing new, but fun to observe what trends keep showing up!

The artist’s work is great art because of her technical genius, her observation of real life & her ability to share authentic emotion. Julie Manet & her Nurse (1880), The Dining Room of the Rouart Family (1880), The Wet Nurse (1880) & Woman Getting Dressed (c1880)
Morisot visited the Louvre to copy as part of her ‘finishing’ & met Corot, Monet & Manet there. Corot introduced her (1860) to painting ‘en plein air’ & to the immediacy of observation & depiction. She continued to train under artists until 1864. Copy of Veronese (1858)

What stupidity a single observation can inspire. #oneyplays https://t.co/jLNpjnr2my
@Todd_McFarlane @kickstarter Not that I want to make a fuss about this as it's not the biggest deal, but isn't the "big spiky boot" on the wrong foot for Modern Spawn? Provided JonBoy Meyers' design as a possible rebuttal to my observation.
