For one, Bandana Dee would complete the Kirby 'Quad-fecta' established in modern Kirby games through 4-player co-op. Plus while B.Dee is infamous for using his Spear, I could see his moveset use other weapons like the Parasol and Beam Wand. Maybe even use rotations like Minmin.

There's no billboards, just a bunch of quads with random rotation and a texture applied & alpha clipped. That way the position of leaves doesn't rotate with the camera which might look a bit odd.
