Love the nickname you gave Stella 🤣!! I agree this scene all comes down to Stolas realizing he deserves better!! Also, I believe Stolas's upper eyes are supposed to emote how he is really feeling, while his main eyes are what he wants people to think he feels.

I originally took this moment as Stolas cooling down from his heated frenzy. But it was pointed out to me that it seems like this moment was him finally coming to terms with how horrendous and abusive Stella truly is to him. And I agree!
