Oh, I completely agree. Never thought of it as a double standard, and as you said, the arguments that it happened more frequent to Sally is there, so the complaints with the art in those is very much valid.

You know what's really dumb when someone complains about Sally's design being to "Sexy" for a Sonic character but they just ignore the fact Rouge exist and don't have a issue with her when she's showing more then Sally when you really think about it.
