@Baconator2558 It is not easy to handwave all the design inconsistencies of Baby DK compared to Cranky. different eyes, nose, and hair are not the same as a tongue being a different color.
Not to mention the Crsnky redesign happened prior to Konga 3, and there just wasn't a new 3D model yet.
@Baconator2558 It's a hole no matter which way you slice it. DK Jr is a child in the Arcade games, so that doesn't erase any of the other problems. It only erases the Baby DK one
King Boo isn't an issue. He likely just looks like that when he's super angry. Boolossus and "Mad Boos" are similar
@Baconator2558 @Ovirtuous_ DK HAS been shown with a protruding nose.... But only in 2D (in 2015 his 3D design recieved the protruding nose).
Yet Baby DK in 2D was NOT given a protruding nose.
DK'94 DK's hair is not the same as Baby DK's. It looks similar due to that sprite being small.
@Baconator2558 @Ovirtuous_ The design of Baby DK is definitely based on Modern DK and not Cranky. The eyes are DK's eyes. The hair is DK's hair. And he has a flat nose, just like Modern DK did (Cranky at that time had a protruding nose).
