Ok looking at the helluva boss art style for a second, I can clearly study it’s linework and seeing the critiques people said to me I am understanding what they say with my line work.
I always been shy of thicc outlines and tried thinner, but I love thick outlines.

quick color test. I find adding colors to lines on things like faces really brings out issues in the lines. Lot of little changes that can be made, things to be improved etc, but she's looking hella cute so far. I'm getting better at humans

Fun fact about Max's look: ever since I decided to redesign him I've tried to draw him with a lot more straight lines. This is both to contrast with Maya (who's pretty much nothing but curves) and just cause I find straight lines easier and more fun to use

I love that they’re preserving the design philosophy of Parts 4 & 5 which is to leave the thickness and line variation of being drawn on paper.
