I have lightened my lights, added some warmth and worked on shapes and saturation.

Day 942: Raven! Tonight's result was simple, but kinda pleasing to look at. I really do enjoy the darker, low saturation blues. Today was also the last day of the old month thankfully! Now I can look forward to a new topic and refresh myself! Here's hoping to a better month! :D

The wind has left my sails a bit this evening with the fandom news, but even still, I wanted to get at least an hour into something for @PoshPompadour . Need to tweak some of the saturation and color choices, though, but really happy with it already.
@thetomska @CrashZoomToon @Eddache_ Crash Zoom has a lot of dark, high saturation colors. It makes the show look darker over all, especially when you use those colors in the backgrounds.

what has changed about the bandori style specifically over time:
-saturation has gone up! especially for hair/eye/skin color
-lighting is more bold and creates good contrast in the outfit
-the backgrounds have grown in complexity! they've gotten good at making the girl stand out
