It's not even for the content of the cutscenes themselves (although that's obviously very good as well), but I remember being VERY impressed by the quality of the images/animations for cutscenes in Fire Emblem Awakening. And it was on the 3DS!

Each chapter opens up with an awesome calligraphic scroll that sets the tone for what you're about to play. However these cutscenes run at sub-20 FPS which undersells their dramatic grandeur a little bit. Still, they have some hella good art on display!

Finished The Evil Within 2! Really bittersweet ending, has me hoping there's gonna be an Evil Within 3 though!

Also, this mighta just been me, the chainsaw cutscene in Chapter 14 straight up reminded me of Evil Dead.

Funfact about the Mr. Final Fantasy vers. of Elidibus (art done by @/berryblossom) I asked it to be from a dating sim c'x like a cutscene in an otome game (I have one with emet and her too but I love these two lots)!

Hikara also wears glasses c'x. But yeah! HikaxEliWOL!

In an early story board for the ending of Gears 5, Clayton Carmine was actually included in the final cutscene. He can be seen grasping Lizzie's COG tags as he thinks about everything that happened while sharing the victory with Marcus and Delta Squad. So sad that this was cut.
