Sometimes ideas lodge in your mind, and don’t go away for decades. Here is a species in my unpublished fantasy series. The nasty, sneering fellow is named Xilocuma - the friendlier tattooed one is Ninuoc.
Expect a lot more of these guys over the next few years!

In 2009 these were the only characters I wanted to draw and now revisiting them at the end of 2019 feels like returning to an old friend? 🤔 From left to right: 2009//2012//2013//2019

Unfortunately since I lost most of my work from 2019 I don't have the best examples, but heres my art thing

As you can see, purple's always been a thing for me

(Had to go in the dark recesses of the google to find anything I didn't scrub from my old DA accounts)

From mom's office scanner and colored pencils to my own cintiq in my apartment I've never given up on what I love to do..

Anime husbands have, tho, been my muse

I really love how it went from spending hours to spending one for a drawing

I always liked Mello from Death Nothe 🍫📖

I actually already did an at the start of the year by redrawing the same character, don't mind me reposting it again at the years end 🙌

2009 was actually the year I started posting my art online (traditional) so seeing this art progess between a decade means a lot❤️

I finished a commission for a pal, Teoskaven. Drew an updated version of his OC.

Also, Well, 2015vs2019... But seriously, to anyone that doubts themselves. Stop it. Learn from your mistakes and keep drawing. It's hard, but gets better.

It might not be an optimal comparison because back in 2009 I mainly drew Sonic Art, and I only started to draw Anime illustrations regularly about two years ago, but hey... I'd say I'm getting somewhere 😅
