its not even their fur color, the skin tones are All much whiter. they even whitewashed fluttershy somehow

so not only are the designs bad and cluttered, but hasbro really did the "white people are more marketable" bullshit

Sudden change of hair color, horns? This was new. “An unwise decision..”

spider lilies!! no matter what the color, spider lilies represent part of the rebirth cycle, red being death and goodbyes and white being new hope and beginnings! i think they suit simon very well no matter what the color

Thought we were done, but so many fish were bitter they didn’t get a role in the alphabet I’ll have to do some digits. Yes, seahorse are fish! They can be any color, blending in. For the 4, I feature lingcod, only the luckiest 15-20% of which are turquoise. Truth!

Here they are 👁👁 aka, ki, hikari, and ao in order!!! Theyre all based on a specific color, the primary color ones are related (aka, ao, and ki) and hikari is based on a futuristic firefly vibe JDNSJD

I put the flat colors first after the lineart with 1 layer for each color, then I duplicate the flat color, make it a clipping mask, and paint the shadows and highlights with a watercolor paint brush. If needed, I blend it with a blend brush or a blur brush too

Thank you for the opportunity.

"Рetals wings"
Lovely petals wings, vanilla tenderness flutters. From the velvet of delicate inflorescences, the aroma of heady trains. Words of admiration for color, eternal energy of light.

This was a sketch I did a while back, so I traced it onto a sketchbook, scanned it, added color, and edited it digitally.

Some sketches i wanted to do as a practice, and well... I like to give it color, the practices was to do the sketch a bit faster. And well i think I improve that ^^

I will publish the sketches separately on FA & DA

If you can’t envision mers of color, your imagination has failed. The ocean is the most diverse place on earth — to insist that all mermaids need to be white (and young, and thin) is racist and ridiculous. Some of my BIPOC and/or darker skinned MerMay mers, in support of Halle ✨
