Because began as a thief, who had legitimate feelings for Batman, writers RARELY ever depicted her as being evil/cold-blooded. So once her popularity skyrocketed, it was natural to give her noble character motivations, and make her into a complex Robin Hood archetype.

my fav character archetype has got to be the shit goblin. They'll generally start out as a minor antagonist but join the main crew later on. They're selfish, mischievous, sneaky little shits but deep down have a heart of gold. Anyone got more examples?

Was inspired by my friend and a conversation we had about the fallen hero archetype. Drew my DND character Talos giving his final stand. I liked the idea of his Rage being the only thing keeping him standing so you can see flashes of his other form's hair colors.

I've been made aware that FFXIV brought back Gogo! I wanted to draw something to celebrate the return of the archetype!

And just because I want to contribute mine would probably be Decode Talker. He's not very good in his own archetype due to his awkward arrows but I just love his design so much.

I also have a soft spot for Stack Reviver because it's design is so cute.
