As I grew up, my sense of self also grew and changed. I needed something closer to me, as I am, without dropping Lou (because they still represent a lot of me!) That's where Bijoux the ferret comes in.
Nebel "Neb" the sergal was a design that existed for a while, even before Lou. But they only solidified as a character later, which had a lot to do with me finding my voice and confidence. Neb is the other end of the spectrum, fantasy and exploration of identity.

My first real fursona was Marie-Louise "Lou", the knaptand. She represents me in my daily life in a very casual, comfortable sense. Creating a character that tied to folklore was important to me!
