In 2014, I sketched my Sun-sun both using graphite+watercolor on a watercolor postcard and graphite+white charcoal on toned paper. I drew him as a cute chibi in 2018, and he made an appearance in an illustration class assignment as my tea party conversation partner in 2019 🤍

It'd have to be this entire sequence. It might not look all that impressive through the pictures i took, but in person these drawings slap. Also theyre really big cuz i drew them on XL paper. Not to mention the backgrounds 👌

Finally found a warmup/sketch setup that works for me. Normally I use newsprint and charcoal but I just couldn’t stand the accumulation of wasted paper. With chalk I can just wipe off and start again no problem
