For 16 years, he continually exceeded mission expectations before his well-earned retirement in 2020.
The tiny mother flutters through the waterweeds, hiding from predators in the leaves’ shadows. Her front legs are like paddles, pushing the nutrient full water into her mouth. Her transparent body reveals 3 fatherless embryos.
