They're both basically on par with one another, so use whichever you prefer.

also, I know the dub did a lot wrong but it makes me especially sad how much they bungled Yami Yugi/Atem and Yugi's relationship from the get go. Them gradually learning to acknowledge and trust eachother is kind of the crux of the series
