Been thinking about Megaman X7, I actually enjoyed it, but I totally see its flaws and why people dislike it, 3D sections are pretty fun tbh and Im sure if it was a Dreamcast game (released in 99' or smth close) it might had seen some more praise.

Real talk though they were always just an amalgamation of my favorite characters and fandoms at the time, but reflected my own interests and flaws in their personality.

For each like this tweet gets, I'll alternatingly tweet a (😄) strength or a (😧) weakness of this elf:
Volume 1’s cover really showcases the juxtaposition of its two main characters perfectly. They stand, each in a very differnet reality, and reach for one another, but can never really touch. They have radically different positions, and so they shed light on each other’s flaws.
It was important for me to have a female character whose flaws involved ambition—and for the narrative not to punish her too severely
Brie isn’t a tragic character, her ambition isn’t her downfall. She just has to be more careful #GHliveblog
I also really enjoyed a “good” character like Brie undeniably crossing a line by calling Heath’s mother
I often frame characters’ flaws a “good points pushed too far”, and for Brie, her ambition pushed too far becomes rashness and disregard
