I couldn't find a render of Shiny Noctowl in Bulbapedia, besides, I think that Noctowl fits better as part of the "middle team" of the Johto region, kinda like Hawlucha in XY, they were both caught around episode 35 of their respective arcs too

What I can glean from the script and concept art leaks, “Duel of the Fates” at least progressed the story and character arcs in a far more organic and creative way
Eg. Rey’s double bladed lightsaber, Finn leading a civilian/stormtrooper uprising, ghost Luke confronting Kylo, etc.

I agree, and never would have until I started reading & indies. Limited series & smaller arcs are more focused than mainstream books and feel like events.

They also expose how badly line wide events are being handled by comparison

The Red Ribbon Army Arc of Dragon Ball represents Western culture and environments. It contrasts against the Eastern environments that Goku explored in prior arcs. The naïve Goku serves as the medium between Eastern simplicity and Western complexity.
