When localizing the game (Lost Ark) they added more NPCs of colour and changed the skin tone of many (I saw people on forums bitching about this) --- but tell me why putting outfit skins on this man makes him PALE WITH BLONDE HAIR????
TP's NPCs were also so full of personality. The artists used both more realistic proportions and very cartoony shapes (look how fun this old guy looks!). Somehow it didn't look weird or out of place. The not so saturated colors keep it on the same mood
designing npcs for my d&d game I'm going to run soon-ish this is the first guy I've finished. Little rat man.

Tamsyn, a seamstress nomad who's overworked and heartsick, and who was coaxed to learn how to dance in a trial by fire via dance competition
I finished my exterior tileset and replaced the temp assets I used, Minus NPCs. Seeing my progress from the last year, it's cool to see the massive shift.

For this week's #ScreenshotSaturday, we're working on adding each NPC's face to the dialogue system, so players won't need to memorize names. There are only 8 NPCs in the game, but who wants to worry about names while they're getting ready for the next big celebration?
