Izumi is, of course, primarily pictured with Ako and Sakura. However, since becoming an idol, she's also often seen with Makino, who despite being a bit older that Izumi has very similar sensibilities to her. Nanami is also sometimes seen with, forming Fata Morgana.

Izumi sometimes gets caught up in her own thoughts, for good or for worse, and while she's usually the one reining in Ako and Sakura, the two also do their fair share of keeping Izumi grounded when her analytical mind starts thinking a bit too far ahead.
