Here's some of Azrael's concept art. I originally considered either purple or gold for his colors, but I decided on beige because I liked the coat's color being different from the hat. I bumped the dull beige to a richer brown, and based his palette on sepia photographs.

i tried recreating Afro's background render style (left) on photographs using Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint (right) and it seems like real photos are too detailed for Afro's style 😅 i might have to find a fast way to make it look simpler 🤔
