Different Stages!

To be able to paint a metallic dragon is a challenge on itself! I tried really hard to incorporate Todd Lockwood's dragon look in this piece, and I like the way it turned out! Also, painting the scales is the part I enjoyed the most in this piece!

I enjoyed it! Especially it not taking itself very seriously by ripping the gung-ho US movie template for an action film, but in a European setting. Yet it managed to capture the classic magic of Scandinavian mythology for me (spent much time there as a child :))
