@ElliotCowanYes In fact, The Hobbit (1977) pretty much set the tone for the late 70's/early 80's in general with the murky color palettes, dark fairy tale atmosphere, and Arthur Rackham influence echoing in the work of Don Bluth, Ralph Bakshi, Jim Henson, and even Disney itself (by the mid 80's)

I love that the Feng cosplay actually looks like a DIY cosplay now, her heart is tacked on, the materials she used are cheaper (also falling apart), the shoulder pads being plastic spheres and the headpiece being a headset
