I see Sonic X is trending, and I just hope that when DOES premiere, people don't SUDDENLY turn their backs on Sonic X. It's got problems, but it's pretty great. And Shadow there is peak Shadow. I hope he's just as good in Sonic Prime. He deserves it.

A lot of what gives it it's heart is Yusuke Kubo's contribution as storyboard artist and episode director. Another episode that was handled by him was Episode 35 of GW which included the elaborate Ciocolatta backstory.
