also fun chicken fact - as well as bearing a passing resemblance to the monster in the show intro, the idea of a big chicken beast has been floating around since before the show even existed! here's a chicken monster from the design test i did for the show wayyyy back in 2017:

Every day, I see more resemblance between myself and the characters I work with. I feel this look so much.

A dragon taking off! I find it very relaxing to draw in black and white, there are fewer decisions to make this way😛(the resemblance to the carnotaurus is accidental!)

My sister, the gray-haired girl. She looks a lot like our aunt here. And kinda like our mom. And almost a little like herself. Almost.

I wonder if it's the same person who designed them because there is an incredible resemblance 🧐

One of my old drawings practically traced, I only changed the girl for Dixie Kong and the weapon for a MK 46 Mod 1 (due to its sonic resemblance to the DKC3 GBA weapon), I originally uploaded it to FA, but you can see it in a safe in my stash

I love this Wart one, I literally had a random manipulated image of Globox at one stage and eventually started to think about the resemblance.

See the resemblance? Sonic as Lilac, both fast & heroic, Incineroar as Carol, both strong cats, Isabelle as Milla, both cute dogs with green on them, Megaman as Torque, both heroic gunners & Ganondorf as Lord Brevon, both bad guys with brown capes.

i love the theory that the new avatar always bears resemblance to the previous avatar's partner, like that japanese(?) belief that you re born with the face of the one you loved in your previous life.

from rangi to roku, ta min to aang, katara to korra, it's awesome
