Imagine trying to carry a child with a septate uterus. People with this birth defect (such as myself) are more likely to experience a miscarriage or just straight up suffer/even die from pregnancy. Safe abortions are NECESSARY

Criminalising abortions doesn’t stop them, it stops safe abortions. A heartbreaking day where reproductive rights and access to healthcare are up for debate and are voted upon.

Everyone deserves the right to safe, accessible healthcare ❤️

The ones who can afford it. Others could risk their lives seeking back alley abortions! This is beyond devastating!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

When I was asked to adapt 's The Handmaid's Tale into a graphic novel the first image I painted was this one - the handmaids at the wall seeing doctors who had been hanged for providing abortions. Today the Republic of Gilead is one step closer to reality.#RoeVWade

This is not progressive, this forces unwanted children to exist, this forces back alley abortions, rogue dr’s who will take extortionate money to fk your body up more and you can’t complain to anyone, can ya? https://t.co/UnsnGfHmAr

Women's rights are human rights but in the United States those rights are being taken away today with the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Taking away the constitutional right to abortion doesn't stop abortions it stops safe and legal abortions.

*Some states have already talked about effective ways to curb anyone leaving the state to seek abortions out of state where it’s legal. Not that this has anything to do with anything, I just love to support extended camping trips and some people need more support than others ☺️

Yes & I'm fairly sure I've shown you this. Which shows a fetus at 10 weeks (abortions happen between 6-12). It's about the size of my thumbnail. No brain, no lungs & is at a time when a majority of miscarriages happen.

with roe now overturned, minnesota is expected to become an island in the midwest for legal abortions. only 50 years ago, abortion was illegal here. some remember it well — these are their stories.

Hey y’all if you have the means please donate to an abortion fund! We can talk, complain, even March but the odds of that making a difference is tiny, putting your money in the hands of ppl that need abortions is something u can do that actually makes a difference

Did people just talk about if they restrict people getting guns, they will still find a way… do they not realize that taking away abortions will just cause more unsafe ones and kill more people with uterus.
I think they want us dead.

"If you're so against abortions get a vasectomy" aka "Or better yet castrate yourself" ✂️ by artist on Instagram!

3) Yep abortions as late as 24 weeks is rough and not an easy choice for people to make. Also most abortions after 21 weeks are not by choice, but by necessity. Which, again, is 1% of ALL abortions. THIS is what they TEND to look like during 90% of abortions.

Dr. Barnett Slepian was an OB/GYN who provided abortions. In 1998, he was murdered.

His niece joins to investigate anti-abortion violence against doctors in the U.S. & Canada. What does the past say about the future?
