What's a movie you wish got a remake so that they'll actually get it right this time?

For me, it's Eragon. I loved the books, and was so hyped when I heard they were making a movie adaptation, only for that movie to be bad :c

Especially the second book impacted me quite a bit

The Epilogue was solid, but I didn't really enjoy most of the plot tbh.
It's probably pretty good as an adaptation in VN anime standards I'd imagine.

also at 1999, they made an adaptation of an FPS game, which in their website they said behind the scenes, it was a mess (staff dispute etc etc from the western side)

I think their works appealed more to westerners than JP, sadly enough
